Delivery challenges for ecommerce products: Pira survey found at 11% of online shoppers recieved a damaged product in the past twelve months
Since customers are unable to try-before-they-buy when it comes to online purchases, at least 30% to 40% of online purchases are returned. Therefore, online merchant's packaging must be easy to open, reseal and convenient for returns while also reducing waste.
Work out an idea/concept for a package for a medium sized piece of electronics (e.g. SLR camera, laptop where:
- Content can be of different sizes;
- Proper cushioning incorporated;
- Customer can easily open and re-close/return
- Possibility of damage is significantly reduced
